I’ve been actively playing percussion instruments since I was 17. I graduated from the P. J. Vejvanovský Conservatory, majoring in percussion. I improved my drum set playing mainly in recording studios and by drawing inspiration from my drumming idols at the time. I enjoy energetic playing in heavier music styles the most, but I don’t shy away from a wide range of genres. One of my favorite drumming activities is definitely studio recording.
In addition to the drum set, I also fell in love with orchestral playing. Melodic percussion, timpani, and other beautiful percussive instruments opened the door to performing with various orchestras, ensembles, and philharmonic groups—an experience that has greatly enriched me. It’s no coincidence that playing in symphonic orchestras eventually led me to become a composer and conductor as well.
Currently, I work as a studio musician and perform in the Drumphonic project and in Janko Ledecký’s band. I’m a proud endorsed artist of BALBEX and SABIAN, whose support I deeply appreciate. In collaboration with Balbex, we created two custom drumstick models – HS-Stage and Hanzissimo, which are available for purchase directly on their website.

Instrumental project that I work on together with guitarist David Uher. In 2014, we released our debut album “Walk on Mars” and in 2018 “Journey to Saturn.”
We aim to make our music catchy, yet energetic, fierce, and interesting both for musicians and for completely casual listeners.
